This week we thought we’d take a slightly different look at refrigeration in the kitchen and focus on something that is becoming indispensable for a lot of people and that is a wine cooler.
Ideal if you regularly entertain or are building up a reasonable cellar of wine, once you’ve had a wine fridge in your kitchen you’ll never look back.

Let’s start at the top with the top of the range fridge freezer from Gorenje. This magnificent fridge freezer is a work of art, a thing of beauty and certainly one of the best we’ve ever seen. The two door fridge freezer naturally allows you to open right or left, depending on the configuration of your kitchen and has all of the usual features you’d expect to find in a fridge of this calibre. Finished in black and silver this appliance has an adjustable thermostat, antibacterial protection, glass shelves, egg tray, dairy compartment, ice cube tray and of course it is naturally a frost free appliance.
Stunning and stylish, this appliance not only looks good but is good for the environment with an A+ energy rating. It has three freezer compartments to keep a wide range of frozen items at precisely the correct temperature and if like many of us you have little people who love to raid the fridge but don’t necessarily understand the concept of shutting the door afterwards, the audible alarm on this model will be a boon.
Granted, this model might stretch the budget in many households, we nevertheless feel that if you’ve invested in getting the kitchen of your dreams then this Gorenje NRKI-ORA-E model should be on your shopping list.
